Justin Barter

Justin Barter serves as Chief Financial Officer of HSFT and member of the firm’s Operating Committee, where he oversees the firm’s global finance function and helps drive strategic initiatives to support its continued growth and evolution. With extensive leadership experience spanning alternative investments, corporate finance, and multinational organizations, he brings a disciplined and commercial approach to financial management and business planning.

Prior to joining HSFT, Justin spent nearly two decades at State Street, most recently as Global Controller of the Alternatives business. In that role, he led financial reporting and acquisitions for the Hedge Fund and Private Equity business lines. Earlier in his career, he served as Financial Controller at ExxonMobil in London.

Justin is a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA), holds an MBA from Bayes Business School in London, and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
