Shane Tiernan

Shane Tiernan serves as a Senior Managing Director of Private Capital Solutions at HSFT, where he co-leads the firm’s private capital operations globally. With deep expertise in private capital operations and fund accounting, he is responsible for overseeing service delivery, driving operational excellence, and supporting the evolving needs of private equity, private credit, and other closed-end fund managers globally.

Prior to joining HSFT in 2009, Shane was an Audit Senior within Grant Thornton’s Financial Services practice. Earlier in his career, he spent five years with IFS/State Street, building extensive experience in fund administration and accounting operations.

Shane holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from University College Dublin and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
