Brian Dawson

Brian Dawson serves as Senior Managing Director of Fund Accounting at HSFT, where he leads fund accounting teams supporting alternative investment managers across a broad range of strategies. He drives operational excellence, enhances service delivery, and helps shape the evolution of the firm’s fund accounting capabilities to meet the changing needs of clients and markets.

Prior to joining HSFT, Brian served as Director of Fund Accounting and Director of Quality Assurance and Financial Reporting at State Street, where he held leadership roles across fund operations, controls, and financial reporting. Earlier in his career, he worked in audit with PwC Dublin, building a strong foundation in accounting, governance, and financial oversight.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
