Michael Ferruzzi

Michael Ferruzzi serves as Senior Managing Director of Tax and member of the firm’s Operating Committee, where he leads the strategic direction of the firm’s tax function. He built and continues to advance HSFT’s tax capabilities. Working closely with Technology, Michael led the integration of tax logic into the firm’s proprietary platform, helping establish a real-time tax infrastructure that enables clients to execute sophisticated tax-aware investment strategies.

Prior to HSFT, Michael served as VP of Tax at HSBC Alternative Fund Services, where he helped establish the tax department and advised large investment partnerships. Earlier in his career, he held tax leadership roles at Andor Capital Management, Pequot Capital Management, and Goldstein, Golub and Kessler.

Michael is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida State University.
