Pracheer Bansal

Pracheer Bansal is Senior Managing Director, Head of Valuations, Risk Management & Front Office Applications and member of the firm’s Operating Committee. He is also the Product Owner of C.A.V.I.A.R., HSFT’s integrated order management, risk, and investment analytics platform. In these roles, he drives the development capabilities that support investment decision-making, portfolio oversight, and risk management across increasingly complex investment strategies.

Pracheer has spent his career designing and leading technology-driven solutions for the alternative investment industry. He brings deep expertise across capital markets, derivatives, risk analytics, and portfolio valuation, helping investment managers address challenges through innovative technology and data-driven insights.

Prior to HSFT, Pracheer was a member of the Credit Trading Group at Barclays Capital and  held a Risk Management Consultant role at Ernst & Young. He holds an MBA in Finance from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi.
